(*) Explanations
- «Tschutte» (or «tschuute», «schuute», «schutte») is a colloquial term for playing football in Switzerland. The word comes from the English «to shoot» = «to shoot; to kick the ball», and is a reminder that the sport of football came to Switzerland from England.
- In Switzerland, the «3rd half» is the unofficial part after the game where the focus is no longer on goals, but on glasses. Of course, this refers to the cheerful get-together after the game – with cool drinks, good stories and even better excuses for the result.
